Tier C — Electric / cordless cultivator Spain Est. 2014
Greencut is a Spanish garden and workshop tool brand of Beself Brands, an e-commerce group founded in 2009 in Tona, Catalonia, as Prat Brands and based in Valls since 2018. Greencut launched a few years later and now has more than a decade of trading history, selling petrol tillers, brushcutters and pumps online and through retailers including Leroy Merlin in both Spain and Italy.
The company behind Greencut is Beself Brands, SL., based in Valls. It was founded in 2009 under the name Prat Brands, relocated to Valls in 2018 and adopted the Beself Brands name in 2023. In our catalogue the brand is represented by the GTC190X petrol tiller, which appears in Greencut's own user manual.
On 30 June 2026 the newspaper Diari de Tarragona reported that Beself Brands, the owner of Greencut, had entered insolvency proceedings at the Tarragona commercial court. According to the same report, the company said an international group was interested in buying its production site.
For a buyer, after-sales support is now the first thing to check. Before buying a new Greencut, ask the retailer who will handle a warranty claim and where spare parts for the model, such as tines, belts and filters, can be ordered, and get the answer in writing if you can. If you already own one, keep the manual, the receipt and the serial number together so that you can act quickly if you need a repair. With a used Greencut, confirm a source for parts before you pay.
